You have degraded the English language

Today's class was rather interesting. Nope. It was not because of the topic lectured, but someone was talking in a language very familiar but still had no sense in it. It was my Malaysian Studies class. Where college students get their taste of the government's propaganda at a higher level.

For this class, lecturers take turns showing up and i think there's like 5 or 7 of them teaching us just tat subject every week. Each lecturer have their own part to present. And this one.... "adoooOOHhhh" (Jewl's version), just had to make my day a laughable one the whole time. Just that i had to laugh about it silently. hehehehe

here are what i think was "words" she used tis morning..

go and read it -----> go and read for it ( for who bah?!)

all these are related to transportation ---------> all this is about the transport (grammatical error)

all/most of them ------> all the theys (yet another obvious error)

knowledge --------> knowled-GES (who would have thought someone who is entrusted with this knowledge sharing job can ever get this fundamental word wrong!)

responsibility -------> respon-bility (respond ability you say?)

security ----------> skuturi!!

for those who wants to study oversea -------> for you guys want to study overseas ( she just had to put "you guys" to make it a little bit catchy)

efficient -------> effey-shien

number seven -----> number seveRns

determine -------> determYne (as in dee-tur-main)

items -----> iteNs

licensing ------> licen-ning

sue you ------> shoe you

efforts -------> eeeeeee-forts

share price going up ------> going up the pri-zed (dont for get,...pri-ZED!!)

strategies ------> strategics

services --------> serviks ( my gawsh woman. isn't that something you really should know?)

splendid --------> splendits (it nearly sounded like spend tits)

improved lifestyle -------> MORE HIGHER lifestyle

and all these only took her less than an hour to entertain me.
hehehe. until the next time i catch her doing the same!
